I'm Aaron, and I run Aaron Gates Films. If creating is my passion then fitness is my Anchor.
I live in Suffolk with my wife Vickie and rescue dog Gina. I live a fairly simple, busy life — working hard, staying active, and spending as much time as I can doing things that feel meaningful. I’ve always believed that experiences matter more than things, and that the moments you share with people are what you end up valuing most.
I grew up playing guitar in bands so I'm naturally drawn to music. I am also a keen fitness enthusiast, be it running, lifting weights or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I crave movement and creativity. Fitness keeps me grounded, filming weddings channels my creativity.
When I'm at home, and I'm not either in the gym or walking the doggo, I'm usually playing guitar or with Vickie, binge-watching the latest Netflix show with a cup of tea.
Every experience in life I feel needs to be treasured, and being able to capture your wedding is the best job in the world.

My Approach
My goal is for you to be able to look back on your film in years to come and relive your wedding day again and again.
Its your day, so every film I create is authentically about you as a couple and what happens on the day.
I approach every wedding like a blank canvas so you know its not going to be a cookie cutter template...
